Tiffany and Antoine danced their way into each other’s hearts when they met during a salsa class.
To celebrate their upcoming nuptials and to honor their love for ballroom dancing, they decided to have a salsa themed engagement session. Tiffany shares, “The theme of our shoot was Salsa/Havana Nights -We really wanted to capture the magic of how we first met.”

How did you meet?
We met during a salsa class in Maryland.
What did you do on your first date?
We had classic first date; dinner and dancing (salsa) of course!
Tell us your proposal story.
On Valentine’s day, 2019 Antoine took me on a triple date to the 13th floor, a beautiful restaurant with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the Baltimore city skyline. As we finished our main course, he pulled out a Jared gift bag, and placed in on the table. My face flushed red with irritation and embarrassment, because we had previously decided we were not going to exchange any gifts that year. After being egged on by the other couples, I opened the bag to reveal two fake gold link chains. As I stared at them in embarrassment and disbelief, I realized I recognized them from when we dressed up as Run DMC for Halloween. “Why on earth would you give me this?! I asked, “And in front of people?!” I asked still staring at the chains, wondering if I was missing some sentimental meaning. When I finally looked up, I found Antoine beside me, on bended knee asking me to spend forever with him.
The engagement session
The theme of our shoot was Salsa/Havana Nights -We really wanted to capture the magic of how we first met.
What’s your favorite thing to do as a couple?
We love to travel, dance and watch movies.
How has wedding planning been so far?
A complete nightmare. Planning a destination wedding was way more difficult than I expected, even as a planner. Now our wedding is postponed because of COVID-19.
Tell us what you’re looking forward to most on the wedding day.
We look forward to being able to just have a wedding – and to share that day with the people we love.
