Day two had a little of everything from swimwear to eveningwear to flirty casual looks perfect for the Spring/Summer 2012 season! Sit back and be amazed by my favorite six looks from a few designers that presented their stunning collections on day two of the highly-anticipated AFI 2011!
Adama Paris
Senegalese designer Adama Amanda Ndiaye of Adama Paris used vibrant pattern cut-out swimswear for her Spring/Summer 2011 runway presentation. We love the exaggerated shoulders and belted one-piece looks. There’s no question this collection is for the body conscious woman! Wax prints have never looked so effortlessly chic!
Bunmi Koko
London-based, Nigerian fashion designers Bunmi Olaye and Francis Udom brought their pastel mix of lavender, yellow and blue to Africa Fashion Week. Many of the silhouettes were flowing and we love her coral beads combination of blue and yellow. We also admire her take on the classic trench coat with elegant yellow rosettes on the bodice.
Eki Orleans
For her latest presentation, Nigerian designer Hazel Aggrey-Orleans of Eki Orleans incorporated peacocks throughout her entire collection. We love the chunky white statement neckpiece that Eki Orleans paired with a two-piece swimsuit.
LaQuan Smith
23-year-old LaQuan Smith from Queens, New York continues to provide innovate style in this promising womenswear collection. Exaggerated ruffles and shades of blue, silver and black were dominant in the new collection. My favorite pick goes to the blue and black top and pants combo.
Lola Faturoti
Lola Faturoti dished out flirty takes on polka dots, lace, pleats, and color! Her pride for her Nigerian heritage is definitely visible in her new collection. I love the lime green trapeze belted dress.

Cheyanne
Is it maybe not such a bad strategy to keep the net worth low? Fewer costs of mactnenanie, more eligibility for disaster assistance, trading of worth for leisure, etc.I often wonder who are the wise one's: Property owners = looting victims.
