In America: A Lexicon of Fashion is a two-part fashion exhibition currently at The Metropolitan Museum of Art which celebrates America and its fashion heritage. This year’s Met Gala in New York City celebrated this theme.
It was a fashion merry-go-round of the most glamorous, and over-the-top looks that once again gave us something to talk about. From looks that made us say “Huh?” to garments that spoke of the human narrative of suffering and freedom, it was a mixed bag that kept us highly entertained, bewildered, and enlightened.
