Olivia Angel Lowe and her hubby, Mauricio Castaldo, hosted an elegant and fittingly “angelic” wedding at Russo’s on the Bay with gold details, a STUNNING Pantora gown, and a white custom tux by Garçon Couture.
After meeting through mutual friends, Olivia and Maurcio’s love story blossomed and on Christmas day, 2021, Maurcio popped the question. Of course, Olivia said YES!
While planning their wedding, it was important for them to honor each other’s cultures. Mauricio’s Italian roots were incorporated through their choice of venue at Russo’s on the Bay while Olivia’s Jamaican background was featured in their DJ, Emcee, and music. Their cultures combined through delicious Jamaican and Italian dishes served at their reception.
On top of a beautiful outdoor ceremony, the highlight of their wedding was undoubtedly their attire! Mauricio’s custom white Garçon Couture tux and Olivia’s intricate Pantora gown exuded angelic elegance. Olivia added an extra touch of glamour to her look with an intricate scalloped-lace veil by Bridal Styles Boutique.

How we met…
Through Friends.
The proposal…
Mauricio proposed on Christmas with family and friends in 2021.
Wedding style…
My wedding dress was the first dress I tried on. I knew instantly that it was the one.
Of course, I went to wear a Pantora Bridal gown. I knew my dream gown would be from there! The shopping experience was amazing. Pantora Bridal is a dream to work with.
I went with my husband and his dad suit shopping at Garcon Couture.
He was very pleased with his custom suit and happy he chose to wear white to add to the Angelic aesthetic.

Cultural elements…
We wanted to combine his Italian culture and my Jamaican culture. So we had our wedding at an Italian Venue, Russo’s on the Bay, and also incorporated a Jamaican DJ and Emcee, as well as Jamaican and Italian dishes.
Best wedding day memories…
The best memory from my wedding was walking down the aisle. We decided not to do a first look. Seeing the genuine look of happiness on my husband’s face made me so happy.
