Captured by Muna Coterie member, Shagari Gerard Photography, Paige and Deron’s engagement session was timeless and classic with a flair for the Avant-garde. The stylish and ever-in-love couple posed before the sleek white backdrops of Achroma Studio.
The bride-to-be, Paige, of L’Jai Amor styled herself and her hubby-to-be in two trendy looks: a black and white glam ensemble and a second low v-cut red dress. Deron was equally dapper in a black tux and bow tie.
This fashion-forward pair can’t wait to #turnthepaigetowilson in their upcoming July 2023 nuptials in New Orleans! Paige shares, “We are looking forward to celebrating our marriage with the people we love the most.”

How they met…
Paige and Deron attended rival high schools Edna Karr and O Perry Walker, but it wasn’t until their years of working as managers at Enterprise when they officially met.
They always had butterflies of excitement while crossing paths at work but were stationed in two different locations in the city. It wasn’t until the two left the company when Deron curiously messaged Paige on Facebook to catch up and sparks flew from there.
Their first date…
Deron immediately knew Paige would be who he’d marry during their spontaneous first date at Amorino Gelato Shop on Canal Street. The two walked with their ice cream downtown where a local freestyle street rapper organically highlighted how happy and in love the two were on his microphone to the public as it started to drizzle.
The unpredictable New Orleans weather didn’t stop their date as they continued to walk and talk through the night. Paige and Deron noticed they had something special. Deron loved how beautiful Paige was inside and out, and Paige loved how persistent and affectionate of a person Deron was to her.
The proposal…
After plenty of dates, flowers, and kind gestures, Paige and Deron embarked on a relationship together, and shortly after Paige met and fell in love with Deron’s twins, Dakota and Deron II. One year after becoming one, to Paige’s surprise Deron made the decision to ask for Paige’s hand in marriage during her birthday party.
This is where Deron arranged for many of their close family and friends to come in town and witness this beautiful moment. Deron always stressed how interested he was in marriage with Paige but this was truly a defining moment for the pair.
This assured Paige that Deron was a man of his word and everything Deron has intended for the couple had in fact come true. Leaving her to believe she has met her Prince Charming and their fairy tale love story was happening right before their eyes. They can’t wait to celebrate their ‘happily ever after’ wedding day and #turnthepaigetowilson!
