Calling all wedding professionals and individuals interested in getting into the wedding industry! Fellow Coterie members Larger Than Life Events and Design and P3Weddings and Events are hosting a 2 day workshop on wedding planning February 6 – 7, 2015. The workshop will take place at the Wyndham Garden Hotel in Mount Pleasant, SC.
Agenda topics are set to include the following:
Day 1: All About Business
- From inquiry to closing (The Business of your Business (CRM tools, contracts + more)
- Managing Client Expectations
- Social Media Strategy
- Pricing
- Vendor Relations (Aneris Photography, Brown Sugar Custom Cakes, AND A SURPRISE GUEST )!
- Transition from hobby to professional
Day 2: All About Design
This day will be all HANDS ON.
- We will discuss design elements that will take your events from average to AMAZING.
- You will learn the proper techniques to create beautiful wedding floral design and how to successfully add this skill to your existing wedding planning expertise.
- We will design and create several tablescapes that will be professionally photographed. These photos can be added to your portfolio.
- Includes breakfast + lunch for 2 days + ending party session.
- You will also receive professional headshots. The 5 digital files will be available for download within two weeks after the class is over.

I wish I knew about this sooner. Is this an annual event? I am completing my wedding planning certification this March and would love to attend! Are there any other locations?
