“Between us, doesn’t saying “I do” sound more romantic on an island? The unspoiled island of Tobago calls out to you to declare just that! Destination weddings allow you to go smaller in a big way! So come along as we explore this styled intimate Caribbean wedding. Infused with island charm, the invitation suite was accented with lush greenery while laser-cut filigree mimicked the fretwork that adorns many of the island’s dwellings. The romantic luxury villa, Ohana, provided the perfect backdrop with its iconic Balinese gazebo, which was artfully decorated with a floral crown and sheer fabric that set the scene for an exchange of vows. An intimate table setting with crisp white linen, candelabras, white floral accents, golden charger plates, and white napkins provided all the grandeur of a large wedding! The menu cards at each place setting added a personal touch for a memorable event. A contemporary two-tiered coconut and vanilla cream-filled wedding cake was covered in marbled fondant and embellished with gold touches and tropical orchid blooms.
The model wore a Jaye Applewaite mermaid gown with sparkling floral lace applique perfect for creating a dreamy island look. Natural makeup with a pop of colour along with a detailed interwoven hairdo gave her island style glam. A fully beaded lace gown with deep V neckline, and floral appliques for the first look. The second dress was a destination wedding must-have! The perfect look for a stroll down the beach into a glorious island sunset. The shoot was stylishly captured by Sam Jackson.”
