Can we say how much we love this new take on glam boho weddings!
Brittany and La’Quan put their own cute twist on their boho wedding by choosing Brittany’s favorite color, pink, to add a special personal touch to make their big day even more special.
Brittany’s signature color pink popped up throughout the day not only in the groom’s tuxedo and the bride’s bouquet but in the prettiest pink decor details. Xpressions Event and Design personalized the couple’s fun neon pink wall sign that coordinated with their stunning tablescape which made the glam boho reception the coolest place to be.
You totally thought we missed the bridesmaid’s pink heels, didn’t you? No way! We saw them and thought they were great stylish wedding day footwear.

How we met…
We met on a dating app that was promoted on vine called Badoo.
Our proposal story…
La’Quan proposed to Brittany on December 15 , 2019 after planning an elaborate scheme with Brittany’s friends to keep her distracted for the entire day (because well, Brittany is quite nosey lol).
Brittany and friends had a full girl’s day when unexpectedly they had to make a detour to drop off a camera at a party for a friend’s mom at a hotel downtown. Brittany’s friends led her to a room in the hotel where the “Party” was, and it was a decorated hotel room that included a love note from La’Quan advising Brittany to get dressed for dinner. La’Quan supplied the clothing and makeup needed for her to get dressed for the night.
After getting ready, they enjoyed a nice dinner with friends downtown and then returned to the hotel for a nice walk around the park nearby to view the Christmas trees. Once La’Quan found a good spot next to the biggest tree, he popped the question!
Styling our day…
Our wedding style was boho glam. I wanted something different that matched the vibe of the wedding design. I chose a beautiful a-line, off-shoulder gown with a slit called NATSUKO by Enzoani, and of course, my accessories had to sparkle!
Wedding dress shopping during the pandemic can be troubling but Anjolique bridal made my experience shopping for a gown so amazing. They were my first stop, and I ended up choosing my gown the same day.
My husband wanted to be bold and chose a tuxedo by Black Tux with a dusty rose jacket. He had a great experience using Black Tux Rental services for him and his groomsmen.

Wedding memories…
Our favorite part of the wedding day was when we finally had a break during the reception and we snuck out to our funnel cake truck (which didn’t have a line) and enjoyed funnel cakes together in the rain while drinking champagne and experiencing the joy of finally being married.
Take it from us…
The best advice we could give is to do whatever you want for your wedding no matter how big or small. Don’t let outsiders encourage your decisions. Remember that this day is about your marriage, and once this day is over it’s just you and your partner at the end.
