Beautifully understated bridal fashion designer, Claire Pettibone, has unveiled her latest collection. Drawing inspiration from the extravagant Gilded Age–a time of expansion and wealth centered in New York City–the collection is a lovely marriage of Claire’s subtle aesthetic and the exorbitance of that era. Using metallic embroidery, delicate beading, and embellishment to tell a bridal story of opulence and high-society. “I was creating my first fine jewelry collection with Trumpet and Horn while designing these dresses, so the idea of rose gold, aquamarine, and pearls found their way into the gowns as well. Some of my favorite pieces include the metallic thread embroideries. An alternative to white or ivory, these textiles shimmer and impart a beautiful glow to the bride,” Claire says. The campaign features shoes by Emmy London and jewelry by Trumpet and Horn. Take a look at Claire Pettibone’s “The Gilded Age” collection.
