Location of Wedding: Ceremony – Hilton Anatole; Reception – 7 for Parties (Dallas)
Wedding Date: December 31, 2017
For fashion designer Esé Azénabor love was just a single click away, having first encountered her future husband on a popular dating website. After chatting and getting to know each other on-line they knew it was time to for the first date. That evening over a Sushi dinner a palpable magnetism could be felt between them both. The conversation and feeling of each other’s company felt so natural that in Esé’s words, “I think we both left knowing that this was going to be it.” That night put them on the path to happily ever after and they’ve been inseparable ever since.
Esé and Eric knew they were “the one” for each other; on numerous levels they both instinctively felt they were in the right place within each other’s loving embrace. It would be on Esé’s thirty-third birthday that Eric decided it was time to take their relationship to the next level. The birthday party was in full-swing, with all of Esé’s family and close friends gathered together in celebration. It was in this moment that Eric, before everyone, asked Esé to spend the rest of her life together with him as husband and wife.
Being a highly successful fashion designer, Esé designed and created both her wedding and reception dresses – taking almost a year to make. The Bride was absolutely stunning in her custom designed gown, glowing as she made her way down the aisle to her Groom – standing handsome at the altar in a Tom Ford.
Traditional Nigerian culture was incorporated into the wedding with a pre-wedding party where everyone wore traditional Nigerian attire. Nigerian culture was also incorporated into the menu with some delicious traditional options.
Best memories: When Eric and I saw each other for the first time … I was speechless!
Advice for engaged couples: When planning a wedding, focus on what is important to you and spend your money on that. Weddings are so expensive but it’s important to remember that it will be one of the best days of your life and it should look and feel like exactly how you want.
