Beautiful, bright, and breathtaking are just some of the words which can be used to describe this styled shoot in Punta Cana. The model’s simple dress and unique bouquet pair perfectly the the modern venue. The stylist also incorporated two natural hairstyles into the look to show that your hair can look great even in the tropical humidity. Read all about the design concept and inspiration below!
Pearl Beach Club is a new modern and hip venue in the Punta Cana area. As a destination wedding planning specialist, I am always scouting the newest venue options in popular destination wedding locations. I wanted to plan a shoot that fit the vibe of the venue, so I planned and designed a Modern Mixed Metallic Beach Wedding inspiration shoot(theme). When I was coming up with the concept of the bouquet I wanted it to be really classy and chic, but unique…something I had never seen or done before. The bouquet is a combination of large tropical leaves with callas and orchids, with a pop of gold from the gold monstera leaf. For the table design, I wanted to keep it really modern and clean. I am often inspired by interior design when I design wedding tablescapes, so I love incorporating really modern and unique vases, tables and chairs. I used gold monsteras and contrasted that with silver circular vases for the mixed metallic look I was going for. Gold chargers, champagne napkins, candles and elegant floral accents completed the look. For the bridal look, I wanted a really simple ( but sexy) and modern look as well. We did two natural hair inspiration looks since women of color with natural hair are sometimes stressed about what to do with their hair for destination weddings. We advise that brides do whatever makes them feel best, but for consideration, instead of stressing about keeping the hair straight with the humidity, maybe find ways to rock the natural! Lastly I wanted to incorporate food and drink inspiration. Destination weddings are always so much fun, especially since you can sometimes incorporate food and drink that is different from the traditional wedding menu in the states. Moet bar, tropical drinks, and chef inspired dishes completed the inspiration for this shoot.
