Sophisticated engagement session in Pasadena, CA

A Facebook message brought LeShaun and Brittania back together after initially meeting in the second grade. Their first date was sweet and simple- ice cream and conversation- but it allowed them to make a true connection and led to a lifelong commitment when LeShaun proposed during a stroll on the beach.

To celebrate their engagement, the gorgeous couple decided to head outdoors for a sophisticated engagement session. Brittania shares, “We love to travel and fell in love with the architecture and scenery of Pasadena City Hall. It reminded us of the buildings in Barcelona, Spain. We wanted our engagement shoot to feel as grand as the venues we picked for our big day. “

How did you meet?

We met in the 2nd grade and were reconnected through Facebook 10 years ago.

Tell us your proposal story

July 12th was our anniversary, and we had dinner on July 13th at our favorite restaurant Javier’s in Newport Beach. After dinner, we took a stroll at sunset at Diamond Cove Beach. As we were walking, Leshaun stopped to tie his shoe, and as I turned around, he was down on one knee. The rest is our new beginning.

Describe your engagement session. Did you have a theme?

We love to travel and fell in love with the architecture and scenery of Pasadena City Hall. It reminded us of the buildings in Barcelona, Spain. We wanted our engagement shoot to feel as grand as the venues we picked for our big day. Our photographer made us feel so comfortable. Everything flowed smoothly, and we loved how the photographer was able to capture us naturally.

What did you do on your first date?

On our first date, we had ice cream. I was so nervous, but the ice cream and the conversation were the true definitions of Love.

What’s your favorite thing to do as a couple?

We love to go on cruises and find food places all over to try.

How has wedding planning been so far?

Wedding planning has been an adventure. We are having 26 people in our wedding party and 260 guests, so each detail is very important to creating the Miller 2020 experience.
