Global natural hair, skin and body care brand, Carol’s Daughter, is launching a new website for transitioners this Spring. They describe transitioners as those who are moving from fully relaxed hair to fully natural hair. This exciting initiative is supported by a video featuring DJ/singer/songwriter/model and Carol’s Daughter spokesperson, Solange Knowles.
The contest called Transition Me Beautiful is open until March 28, 2012 with winners announced on April 6, 2012 by CEO Lisa Price via Facebook. Three grand prize winners will receive: a feature on Carol’s Daughter social media sites, an all-expense paid trip to New York for a photo shoot, dinner with Lisa Price, a pampering session at a spa, wardrobe from designer Sammy B, a year’s supply (!!!) of Carol’s Daughter’s products, a flip camera to chronicle their hair journey for one year on the brand’s transitioning site and an “I Love My Hair” T-shirt. In addition, the winners will receive free consultations with curl expert and author Diane DaCosta; stylist and fashion expert, Memsor Kamarake; and fitness expert, Latham Thomas.
Ten first-prize winners will receive a flip cam to chronicle their hair journey, an “I Love My Hair” T-shirt and a Carol’s Daughter Transitioning Hair Care set.
Twenty second-prize winners will receive the Hair Care set and the T-shirt.
