The VS Angel said “yes” to her equally famous beau DJ Ruckus who popped the question while the two were vacationing in the Bahamas over the holidays. According to E! News, Ruckus proposed on December 26th while he and his bride-to-be were alone. With the help of jewelry extraordinaire Lorraine Schwartz, the thoughtful fiance created two stunning rings for the model, as he had too many ideas and wanted to make sure she got exactly what she wanted. Shanina chose the gold hexagon-cut diamond, which had both her and Ruckus’ initials engraved in diamonds and an amethyst (her birthstone) under the ring. But the ring almost didn’t arrive, according to E! since FedEx did not deliver on Christmas Day, the groom-to-be enlisted the help of family friends Denzel and Pauletta Washington to hand deliver the the bling. Ain’t no mountain, or parcel service gonna keep him from getting his love.

Shanina took to Instagram to share the big news with her followers, proudly showing off the gorgeous rock and the love of her life.

She captioned the photo “This love is a sure thing! I said “YES!!” The couple then celebrated with friends and family who were also vacationing on the island. Ruckus put the icing on the cake by Face-Timing his future mother-in-law’s favorite actor, Tyrese, and let her tell him the big news!
