This past summer, Georgia was home to many country chic themed weddings and we’ve got a taste of what your own upcoming glamorous country wedding can look like on a budget. Bring your bling to the table no matter what you’re planning. Don’t be afraid to have your bridal party help out with DIY projects to make your reception as beautiful as possible, with love and handcrafted care behind every piece. That spark in your eyes won’t be the only thing that shines.
Whether you’re a country girl or want to bring the country to you, a barn wedding might be what you’re looking for, or a warehouse for a blank canvas where you can create anything you want. This styled shoot was shot at Trolley Barn in Atlanta, Georgia, which embodies so much character and was perfect in providing the rustic look.
What are some elements to that country bling theme? “Accents of hay bales, burlap chargers, as well as natural stationery and wooden chairs. Glass and crystal accents were also included throughout the design from the centerpieces, to the votive candles, the bride’s bouquet and even the bride’s gown courtesy of CTO Bridals which had a touch of sparkle,” says, Keisha Grier of Exceptional Event Design. “The color palette for this look includes sage green with bursts of yellow sunflowers and a touch of magnolia leaves.”
What’s better than having a country chic wedding than having it on a sunny summer day? Take off the veil, let your hair out, enjoy the rays for a moment. Relish in your beauty. Swirl around in the sun in your gown and enjoy the summer breeze. Somebody pass the sunflowers and the lemonade, it’s going to be a very splendid afternoon.
