Ever consider fruit as inspiration for your wedding day decor? Not a bad idea, huh? The styled shoot we’re sharing with you today was inspired completely by citrus. Think orange hues, bright bold complimenting colors, and plenty of fruits of course! We love the energy and feel we get viewing these gorgeous photos and can’t wait for you to dig in. The planner, one of our newest Coterie members, Urbane Montage, did a brilliant job producing both an indoor and outdoor look with the The Minneapolis Institute of Arts as the backdrop. And we are loving the styling on the models. Perfection!
From Faith of Urbane Montage
We gathered a team of talented artists for a modern citrus styled shoot to inspire brides to embrace vibrant colors. This inspiration shoot includes the color palette of Tangerine + Chartreuse, accompanied by Slate. A palette complemented with a clean, crisp elegant design. The design element of the “day” included milk glass pieces and white chiavari chairs while the “evening” included glass pieces and clear chiavari chairs.
We were thrilled at the opportunity to feature The Minneapolis Institute of Arts! The MIA’s Target Park was the perfect setting for our “day” look and the Reception Hall of the Target Wing the setting for our “evening” look. As a bride it’s important to know that you can create a distinct look for your wedding day whether you are considering an indoor event or outdoor celebration.
Cadence + Eli Photography used this urban backdrop to create stunning images. The ladies of L’atelier Couture Bridal worked with us in selecting gorgeous gowns. Our bride was stunning in Vera Wang Eloise for the modern romance of the day look while offering a sleeker evening look, making her an elegant goddess in Elizabeth Fillmore Garbo. Ray of Nardo Wardrobe Consultants styled our groom perfectly combining color and stripes from Elsworth Menswear and William Park. Gretchen of Gretchen Berry Designs invitation suites and paper goods flowed flawlessly throughout, from the menus, personalized place settings, to the table numbers. Crystal Kluge’s whimsically modern calligraphy could not be missed amongst the paper goods and desserts displayed from Cocoa & Fig. The effortlessly designed cake and decadent spread of sweets by Cocoa & Fig included Pistachio Macaroons, Carrot Cake Cupcakes, Key Lime Shooters, Rice Krispie Treats, Vanilla Cake Lollipops, and New York Cheesecake. Melissa of Sadie’s Couture Floral & Event Styling’s designs spoke beautifully through the breathtaking blooms.
