Dana and Patrick can literally thank the Lord for bringing them together. The couple had attended the same mega-church, where Patrick is the Minister of music. Though the congregation served as a place of worship for over 10,000 members, the enormous population didn’t stop Patrick from spotting Dana in the large crowd. “She would sit in the same seat every Sunday: Right elevated wing, outside aisle seat, 6 rows from the top. She’d always carried herself with poise, yet had an aloofness that somehow became the drawing factor,” Patrick shares. So he carefully devised a plan to get a mutual friend of theirs to introduce them. They were eventually connected through a Facebook message and continued to connect from that moment on.
The couple had a city chic engagement session at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. Their polished looks and fun personalities made for a modern and stylish engagement session. IYQ Photography captured the beautiful images of Dana and Patrick’s engagement session.

We wanted our engagement session to show how much in love with one another we are. Our photographer did an outstanding job of doing that for us. The pictures were classic, romantic, fun and fierce.

Patrick & Dana,
I pray God’s richest blessings upon your union when that day comes that the two of you become one!
My advice to you is to keep outsiders out, and God in. I don’t care who the outsiders are, but once they come in, it becomes messy. No one will be able to work things out in your marriage better than the two of you, with God as the CENTER.
Always work together, compromise, sacrifice, even now, and your marriage will last a long time. I’m a witness, I’ve been married almost 25 years, and plan to be for 25+ more.
What an exciting time this is for the both of you, and I wish you nothing but happiness!
