Precious and Shermond celebrated their engagement with a classy engagement session at The Fire House Loft in New Orleans!
Precious and Shermond are neighboring business owners in New Orleans. When Precious opened her new printing business, she happened to stop by Shermond’s Cajun restaurant nearby. Shermond was immediately smitten when Precious walked through the doors and needed to know who she was, so he made it a point to introduce himself. He continued patronizing Precious’s business for all of his printing needs, flirting with each opportunity. Eventually, Precious was convinced and they went on their first date.
…our initial date, a candlelit dinner which was filled with great food, laughter, and an overall sweet heartfelt conversation.”
Precious
After going on dates here and there for a few months, their feelings grew and they officially started dating. Shortly after, a much-needed getaway brought them closer and they fell deeply in love. From that point on, they were inseparable.
A relationship isn’t forced it’s something you fall into. It naturally becomes your choice. We choose each other willingly every day and that’s what I love about us the most…”
Precious
Shermond arranged a romantic and heartfelt proposal to Precious on New Year’s Eve. Surrounded by family and friends, Shermond got down on one knee as a singer serenaded them with John Legend’s “All of Me”.
It was so amazing that I went from his future to his forever in a moment…”

How did you meet?
I stopped by his restaurant one day. I was opening my print shop a few doors down. When I stopped in he just was so curious to know who I was. He started to use me for his printing services but also would flirt with me every time I came around. He used to call me his future wife and tell me I was going to give him a kid. I used to tell him the wrong woman I’m not having any more kids lol. So I finally let him take me on a date. Our first date was a candlelight dinner at his restaurant; we ate good food and talked. It was really sweet.
Tell us all about the proposal.
On New Year’s Eve, amongst our family and friends, Shermond arranged the moment of his life wanting to bring in the new year right. He had a singer sing John Legend’s “All of Me” and as he confessed his love, he proposed and I happily said “Yes!”.
How was your engagement session experience?
Upon entering the venue with excitement, we knew that our shoot would be
one of a kind. Shagari made us feel very comfortable and proceeded to work his magic
with the tones and feels of the setting. We loved our session and were extremely excited
once we received our photos. We are honored to work together in making lifetime memories and capturing our love through his lens.
