We’re thrilled to present a rustic bohemian glam styled shoot brought to you by three members of the Coterie, a preview of which can be seen in the Spring/Summer 2015 issue of MunaLuchi Bride Magazine. This styled shoot was put together at our first annual Coterie Retreat inTampa, Florida last December as part of the design challenge. And just from these photos alone, you can see why this was the winning team:).

When Dajuan Jones of In His Image Photography approached Monica Noa of Nouveau Events about teaming up for a styled shoot at The Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club, she immediately jumped at the offer. Within two short weeks, Nouveau Events pulled together some of the best wedding professionals across the US to make this vision come to life and In His Image Photography was there to capture every gorgeous detail.
For this bohemian glam shoot, our design inspiration was the picturesque Island Oak at Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club. We incorporated soft elements to reflect the whimsical Spanish moss that naturally drapes the trees. Our color palette is an echo of the neutral tones found in swamp landscape. We used grays similar to fresh Spanish moss, as the epicenter of our color palette, with other neutral tones, pinks and ivories. To complete our color palette, and to add some dimension, we pulled in metallic gold and silver accents.
For décor style, we found inspiration in the organic feel of our location. We chose a natural, trellis-patterned linen with an organic feel. To add a bit of gilded glam to the tablescape, we opted for gold chivari chairs and a combination of masculine charger plates with feminine china, glassware and flatware.
Nouveau Events created the beautiful naked cake and miniature fruit pies. We also added a beautiful distressed side table, which was the perfect way to showcase the desserts. To give the cake a warm and natural touch, it was accented with seasonal fruits flowers and greenery: blackberries, pears, hydrangea, and hypericum berries.
With the floral, we kept the colors simple and soft to keep with the natural monochromatic colors of the Island Oak. Flowers by Jenny used succulents, hydrangea, garden roses, dusty miller, and mums to create the gorgeous floral pieces for the shoot. For the centerpieces, we wanted to create a romantically organic design that mimicked the Spanish moss draped trees in the background. So driftwood and hanging moss was incorporated into this romantic floral arrangement. The bride’s bouquet adds a very soft and romantic touch of color along with organic features and interesting textures!
The bride wore the stunning Genevieve gown from Pantora Bridal which was the perfect blend of bohemian and romantic vintage. We chose this two-piece gown in ivory to blend with the natural tones of the décor while the dress pattern complimented the scenery. Adarely Tepetate provided hair and makeup styling for our gorgeous model. We chose natural, loose curls to pair with our gold head chain.
For the stationery, Suite Paper created a romantic gold and blush custom invitation suite. The invitations and menus were a beautiful blend of modern and sophisticated style. To add a touch of femininity, we used charcoal gray place cards and calligraphy from The Turquoise Cardinal to tie the entire paper suite together.
