As a Muna bride, we’re sure you’re all about the details. From the engagement party to the bridal shower and beyond, you’ve probably been scouring the internet for fun and innovative ways to define your bridal experience. Well you’re not alone, we’ve got just the thing to make your bridal shower THE hot topic. Over the weekend we attended the Your Wedding Experience event in Atlanta and had the pleasure of meeting some of Atlanta’s bridal tastemakers. Check out how we learned to set up a DIY nail polish bar via Jen Carreiro of Something Turquoise.
Your Nail Bar
What you’ll need to display your bar:
Empty nail polish bottles
Mica powders and scoops
Nail polish base
Pens and bottle labels
The “how-to” sign
A tray for guests to pour/mix over
Have fun with your display. Choose a color scheme that mirrors your wedding theme or step outside the box and go for a bright and bold color palette. Dress up your nail bar with a chic table covering and choose glass or clear display cases to show off your materials.
“Mica” is what is used to add pigment to your nail polish. Provide your guests with a range of colors so they’ll have the multiple color options. Display the mica colors, glitter and mixing balls on a paint palette or in individual containers. You’ll also need funnels or small scoops to add the mica to your nail polish bottles.
SUPPLIES

Stay tuned for part two where we’ll show you how to make your own nail polish!
