Dominiece and Chad learned early on that compromise is necessary in order to build a strong relationship. They started dating while in college and despite not having much money, were able to fill their relationship with laughter and love. They quickly realized it’s not about how you spend your time but who you spend it with that matters.

Tell us all about the proposal. He proposed in Machu Pichu, Peru right before the last bus of the evening was leaving to return us to the train…and well yea, I was definitely trying to catch the bus.
Describe your engagement session. For the engagement shoot I went for a more romantic route. I wanted our attire to match the attire requirements for the wedding, which is formal. I wanted the photos to be intense and passionate. During the shooting we had a lot of fun, broke a few garden rules and just enjoyed the day and the beautiful scenery.
What did you do on your first date?
Our first date was in college and it was very basic. We went to Buffalo Wild Wings and the movies at Dolphin Mall in Miami. He didn’t even pay for the whole date; He paid for dinner and I paid for the movie. LOL. We were both in college without jobs and no money, so its safe to say we figured out the concept of compromise very early on in our relationship.
How has wedding planning been so far? Planning has been great. I have the best wedding planning team, Chi and Didi from Dure Events. They make my life less stressed and really help direct me and my research. It’s awesome! I pretty much would rest my whole wedding in their hands and sleep perfectly fine. The other part of planning like satellite things, I get a lot of help from my bridesmaids. They are amazing! I’m not sure why people complain about their wedding party, but my girls are the best. Bar-NONE.
Tell us what you’re looking forward to most on the wedding day. Ummmmm… EVERYTHING. No , honestly I can’t choose. I’m looking forward to our first look. I’m also looking forward to the moment the curtains open to walk down the aisle. I can’t wait to exchange vows. I’m looking forward to all of the wedding party and parents and family looking awesome. And of course, I think we are all looking forward to the open bar. I also can not wait to see all the decor and everything come together. So basically, in conclusion, I’m looking forward to EVERYTHING.
