How many of you have been a bridesmaid? And how many times? Chances are, you’ve probably held that task at least once, and/or know someone who has. So here’s the big question…what have you done with your dresses?
Here is an inspiring new non-profit startup that we’d love to share with you – and they need your bridesmaids dresses. It’s called All Good Things, Inc and was founded by Jasmine Irons as part of her mission to inspire and invoke positive change in the lives of young women.
The first project is called Project Prom Queen. It’s set to be an awe-inspiring day for a number of young high school girls who come from challenging personal or financial backgrounds, but still manage to keep a stellar academic record. According to Ms. Irons, “Young girls should always have the opportunity to go to prom even if they can’t afford it. I’m truly excited to help these young girls look and feel like the queens they are for their prom!”
The way it works, is on Dress Day, selected applicants will be able to pick from and try on a selection of fabulous dresses. There will also be a separate Hair/Makeup Day where the girls will get all pretty courtesy of the Glam Squad.
