Bali is emerging as a hot destination for weddings + honeymoons. What makes this country special in terms of hosting weddings?
Bali is unique in terms of nature, culture, and people. Bali has a beautiful landscape, be it beaches that are treasured by world-class surfers with their beautiful sunsets, rice field, mountains, tropical forests, waterfalls, or rivers. All outside venues and areas in Bali are screaming romance. Located near the equator, Bali has warm tropical weather all year around. If you dream about a tropical paradise, Bali is the one. More importantly, are the people. Bali has the friendliest people in the world, their smiles and warm greetings are the reason why people keep on coming back year after year.
As for the culture, it is heavily influenced by Hinduism. The world calls Bali “the Island of Gods,” and many are interested in religious activities and their philosophies. The culture, the aromatic scents, the sounds, and the foods, all combine to make Bali an exotic place that you won’t find anywhere else in the world. These statements are proven by the award that Bali received in 2021. World Travel Awards has named Bali “Asia’s Most Romantic Destination.” According to its official website, the Island of the Gods has won awards in the same category since 2019. Bali also received an award as Asia’s Leading Wedding Destination 2021 from the same event.
What are the 5 hotspots in Bali that you would recommend for international travelers?
Bali is one of the most evocative places to visit in the entire Indonesian archipelago. A visit here sparks the senses. Some of the things that you can do are:

- Enjoying the beautiful landscape of rice field in Tegal Alang
- Rafting on Ayung river and walking on Champuhan ridge walk in Ubud
- Diving at a world war shipwreck at Tulamben
- Immerse in the culture at Panglipuran Village
