With advances in technology, many love connections are being made in cyberspace. Eboni and Frankie met on a social website in April 2011, and 3 years later on April 16 2014, the exact day of their first date, Frankie proposed to Eboni!
To celebrate, the couple decided to have an engagement shoot that incorporated two different looks: an indoor “fashion look” and an outdoor “urban look. They got to work with their dream photographer Chris of Creative Silence Photography, and as you will see below, their photos were simply stunning. They have been excitedly planning their wedding with P3 Weddings & Events and we wish this couple all the best!

How They Met
With social websites being very popular, we actually met online April 2011. We quickly exchanged numbers and the rest is history!
The Proposal
Every Wednesday, Frankie and I go out to eat Sushi! In early April, I mentioned to Frankie that Sushi Night on April 16 would be 3 years since our very 1st date! But I didn’t really think much of it.
On Monday, April 14, I asked Frankie did he want me to pick up take-out Sushi or were we going to meet there. He mentioned that since it was 3 years since our 1st date, we would go somewhere different! So Frankie made dinner reservations for Morton’s Steakhouse. But before we left for dinner, Frankie got down on one knee and asked Will You Marry Me?! I was completely surprised! After catching my breath, finally saying yes and all the tears, we went to dinner! Our waiter at Morton’s was the best! We took pictures and enjoyed a complimentary dessert. What a great way to celebrate 3 years!
The Engagement Session
My mom actually suggested our engagement photographer. She describes him as her “Maxwell (the singer) of Photography.” Once I viewed his work, I also fell in love with his photography! It was different, very artistically creative! Chris Charles of Creative Silence Photo+Design was our photographer and will also shoot our wedding!
I told Chris that I wanted two different looks and we decided on a mixture of an indoor “fashion look” and an outdoor “urban look.” During the 1st look in the studio, I must admit, I was very nervous. I didn’t know how to pose and stand. I was a mess! LOL Frankie thought he was a Pro and was actually quite comfortable in front of the camera. The 2nd look was shot on location in Downtown Durham at the American Tobacco Historic District. The outdoor scene really allowed me to relax, get comfortable and truly enjoy the session!
The Wedding Planning
My wedding planning has been great! I have a wonderful Mother that has been very helpful since Day 1. It’s also great because my Mother works for my Wedding Planner Pearlice Diggs of P3 Weddings & Events. So I have the Dynamic Duo in my corner! My Bridal Party is small so that has also been a plus. My Ladies have been nothing but supportive during this process. We have done so much in 7 months; many of my vendors are booked so that alleviates a lot of stress. I pray the remainder of the process is as stress-free as possible!
Looking Forward to the Wedding
I am looking forward to finally being Mrs. Timmons!
