Lucious, elegant, verdant, organic…just a few of the words that come to mind when exploring this vibrant “tropical oasis” styled shoot. The beautiful tropical color themes, florals, and confectionery would turn any bride’s event into an island escape.
Read all about the inspiration for this styled shoot as told by Cathy Julien-Douse of Elegant Bouquets. Featuring a beautiful bridal crown and accessories by MunaLuchi Coterie member Ilieana George Couture.
“Dreaming of a destination wedding in the sun? Why not let your surroundings inspire you. The Greenhouse at The Royal Ambassador was the perfect venue to style this ceremony and reception.
Lush floral greens and vibrant colours set the mood for this tropical escape. The look is bold, elegant, yet organic and natural. Green palm fronds were in every element from the stationery to the table scape.
The model wore a stunning designer gown by Julie Vino as she graced down the candlelight aisle of the ceremony space. The enchanted bamboo arch was layered with Monstera, Palm and Banana leaves which was the focal point of the ceremony.
The couple then dined under a canopy of tropical foliage to resemble the rain forest. The tables were tastefully decorated with framed table numbers, gold rimmed stemware and succulents in glass spheres. Menu cards showcased a Caribbean inspired menu and fruity signature cocktails were served on a gold mirrored tray.
The sweet table was filled with treats such as mini upside cakes, coconut cream trifle, macaroons and the decadent wedding cake.
The bride’s hair and makeup was changed from soft and sultry to evening glam. Makeup was intensified and hair pulled back to reveal her gorgeous chandelier earrings. To capture every moment of this love story the photographer and videographer paid attention to all the details.”
