Haley and Jordan’s elegant wedding at the Pen Ryn Mansion features lush greenery, personal details, and Jamaican culture.
The couple first met in the 8th grade and have been falling in love every day since!
We both knew we were meant for each other from the start.
Jordan & Haley
Jordan and Heley commemorated their long-time love in a beautiful wedding at the Pen Ryn Mansion in Pennsylvania. Set along the Delaware River, the elegant wedding venue was the perfect backdrop. With pristinely trimmed gardens and well-manicured lawns, the timeless estate estate is reminiscent of the popular Netflix show: Bridgerton.
The couple certainly looked the part of royalty! Haley slipped into an a-line Martina Liana wedding dress from Kleinfeld’s with off-the-shoulder detachable bell sleeves and a high-side slit while Jordan wore a black tuxedo with a notched lapel and pants with a satin stripe down the leg.
With their love story starting back in grade school, Haley and Jordan made sure to include little personal details, such as their table number cards, which featured correlating age photos of the couple! They also honored their shared Jamaican roots through their music and with a second Jamaican cake, lovingly made by Haley’s grandmother.

Quick Facts:

Wedding style:
Haley: I wore a dreamy a-line Martina Liana wedding dress from Kleinfeld’s with off-the-shoulder detachable bell sleeves and a high-side slit.
My shoes were white with a closed pointed toe and gold stiletto heels. I wore my mother’s pearl necklace (something borrowed), which she received from my dad on their first wedding anniversary. My earrings and bracelet incorporated the pearls from the necklace. To top it off, I wore a cathedral-length veil that matched the frothiness of the dress’s train with three-dimensional tulle flowers.
What was the wedding shopping experience like for you?
Haley: It was unforgettable, something I looked forward to since I was a little girl. I visited three dress shops in total and finally said “yes to the dress” at Kleinfeld’s in New York City. I had the pleasure of bringing my mom, sister, godmother, and aunt with me throughout the journey.
Jordan: I wore a black tuxedo with a notched lapel and pants with a satin stripe down the leg.
Haley helped pick out my silver-buttoned white shirt, satin vest, and double bow tie. My watch was a gift I received from her for my birthday, which has “Our Love is Timeless” engraved on the back. I wore the cufflinks I received in my “Groom Essentials” Box, coupled with the personalized handkerchief and socks of course!
Jordan: I had such a memorable experience searching for my groom’s outfit. Getting measured, finding what styles and colors fit me best, and watching the vision I had for the outfit come to life was so exciting. It meant the world to have my dad and brothers there supporting me during this once-in-a-lifetime moment.
Bridesmaid & groomsmen gifts:
Jordan: I gave the groomsmen personalized cuff links & tie clips with their initials on them, they came in a personalized wooden box.
Haley: I gave my bridesmaids personalized initial burlap tote bags with matching wedding color pajamas, an Alex & Ani “Bridesmaid” bracelet, and a handwritten note.
Gifts for one another:
Haley: I created a “Groom Essentials” box for Jordan on our wedding day. It contained a personalized handkerchief with stitched initials (for happy tears), personalized “JA” cuff links, wedding ring-decorated socks (so he can’t get cold feet!), and his favorite candy (because he’s so sweet).
Jordan: I gifted Haley a crème-colored crossbody bag from Coach (one of her favorite purse brands) to bring with her on our Honeymoon to Cancun.

Did you incorporate any culture into your wedding?
We are both half Jamaican, so we made sure to incorporate Jamaican & Caribbean music during the reception. We also had a Jamaican Wedding Cake as a second cake, made by Haley’s grandmother.
Reception decor & details…
What is your best memory from your wedding?
Our best memory is our Last Dance, which we did alone in the reception hall before our sparkler send-off. This gave us a chance to let time stop and to be present, for just a few moments, to soak in the overwhelming joy from the day.
What is the best wedding advice you can give to engaged couples?
Our advice would be to expect the unexpected and embrace it. There is bound it be something that doesn’t go as planned on your special day. For us, it was having our ceremony moved indoors due to rain and Haley forgetting to eat and almost passing out at the altar! Regardless of any unforeseen events, you will be married at the end of it and it will be the most beautiful day of your lives together.
