Featured in Issue 31, Muna Coterie Floral & Event Designer Nyyah Régine of Le Fleur Régine is engaged! She celebrated her engagement with fiancé Branden Green in an enchanted black tie photo shoot on the grounds of Cator Woolford Gardens in Atlanta, Georgia.
The couple, who first met on the dating app Hinge, knew online dating often leads to fleeting connections. However, their romance would be different. Nyyah shares, “Our love story stands out as a testament to serendipity and enduring affection.”
Our journey began on the dating app Hinge, a platform designed to be deleted, and ironically, it was this very act of deletion that marked the first twist in our tale.

After matching online, Nyyah and Branden knew they had an undeniable bond.
Their conversations were filled with laughter, deep conversations, and an unmistakable sense of connection. However, in a moment of introspection, Nyyah decided to delete Hinge and focus on personal growth.
She shares, “I deleted the app, severing the thread of communication with Branden. Yet, as the weeks passed, his memory lingered, a persistent whisper in the back of my mind, urging me to take a leap of faith.”
Nyyah ultimately decided to re-download Hinge and life with its unpredictable twists brought them back together on a day of celebration and fate: Branden’s birthday, July 4th, 2021.
This remarkable coincidence was not lost on us. It felt like the universe’s way of affirming our connection.

From that day forward, they were inseparable.
Leaving their digital romance behind, they connected in real life, and on July 4th, 2022, exactly one year after their reconnection, Branden proposed! The couple will say “I do” this weekend on April 20th, 2024, and we can’t wait to see their wedding photos!

The proposal…
Our love story took a cinematic turn on July 4th, 2022, exactly one year after our reconnection. Branden chose an extraordinary setting for his proposal: a nest in the Tulum sky at the Kin Toh restaurant, a place where nature meets luxury, suspended above the Mayan jungle.
This unique location reflected the heights to which our love had soared and the depth of our commitment to each other. As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a golden glow over the sky, Branden asked me to be his partner for life.
It was a moment of pure magic, surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of Tulum, marking the beginning of our forever.
Tell us about your enchanted garden engagement session.
Our engagement session was nothing short of a fairytale, a dreamy prelude to our much-anticipated nuptials. We chose an enchanted garden setting for our photoshoot to capture the magic of our love story against a backdrop that mirrored our sky-high proposal and the enchanting theme of our upcoming wedding. This lush, verdant oasis, with its riot of colors and serene ambiance, was the perfect scene for our celebration of love.
I wore an elegant black gown, while Branden was by my side in a sharp black tuxedo. Our choice of sophisticated black attire was a deliberate nod to the all-black, black-tie dress code we’ve set for our wedding guests, symbolizing the elegance and unity of our union.
Amidst the garden’s captivating beauty, our photographer captured tender moments, our laughter, and the palpable connection between us. Each frame was a testament to our journey together.
This wasn’t just an engagement shoot; it was our celebration of love, elegance, and the promise of a future together, all wrapped in the timeless grace of black-tie romance.

What did you do on your first date?
Our first date at the soft launch of Serena Pastificio in Atlanta was unforgettable. Branden chose this elegant Italian spot, where the inviting ambiance and exquisite cuisine set the stage for our budding romance. As we indulged in delicious dishes and engaging conversation, I felt a spark between us ignite. That evening wasn’t just about the food; it was the beginning of our journey together, marked by laughter, connection, and the promise of many more moments like this.
What’s your favorite thing to do as a couple?
Our favorite activity would have to be our all-day dates. They typically start with a fun activity such as exploring the Belt Line in Atlanta and features detours such as stopping off for wine tasting, lunch, and ending the date with a trip to Jenni’s Ice Cream.
