Tell us how you met and all about the proposal? We met 2012 in New York at a mutual friend’s party. He came over to say “hello” to my friends that I was with and we exchanged a brief “hi.” Three weeks later we met at another party in New York, he was the first person I noticed once I walked into the club. He came over to say “hello,” and asked me to save him a dance. We danced most of the night and he asked for my number. The rest is history.
Demi proposed 2015 Good Friday on the beautiful island of St Thomas during dinner in the presence of a few close friends and family. It was a Good Friday indeed.
Describe your wedding dress? Traditional ball gown, with a bit of a modern flare.
What was wedding shopping like for you? Wedding shopping was actually fun for me. I enjoyed every moment of the planning process.
Did you incorporate any culture into your wedding? Yes. We are both Nigerian so we incorporated Nigerian culture in our wedding as evidenced by changing into our traditional attire, the food, music, family and friends wearing our traditional attire.
