From Lifetime Fitness to Lifetime Love: Jennifer and Aaron celebrated their engagement with a modern and chic photo shoot at The Bradford.
Both entrepreneurs and passionate gym enthusiasts, Jennifer and Aaron are VERY much in love. And now they’re engaged!
The fitness couple, who first connected on Instagram, shared their first date at Lifetime Fitness. They’ve been workout partners (and soon-to-be life partners!) ever since.
Together, they even document their fitness and health goals on their Instagram page, Alpha Voyage Fitness, where they help individuals transform their physiques through healthy and sustainable habits.
Working out is a huge part of our lives. We enjoy pushing each other to new limits physically. We also enjoy thrifting every Friday during our weekly day dates.

To celebrate their engagement, Jennifer and Aaron headed to the European-style venue, The Bradford, just outside of Raleigh, North Carolina for a modern and chic photo shoot.
Styled by Brooke of BLJ Collective, the couple looked fly, elevated, and effortlessly cool in every frame. Reign Beauty provided the glam and hairstyles for Jennifer which perfectly complimented the bride-to-be’s two editorial looks.
Photographer and Videographer duo, The Chase Collective, shared, “This was surprisingly the couple’s first time taking professional photos and they were so natural and confident in front of the camera. It made for an incredible session!”

How did you meet?
On Instagram! We followed each other and I made a funny comment on a post of his. We realized we were both in Raleigh and very much into fitness. He asked if I wanted to work out the following weekend. Our first “date” was at Lifetime Fitness. It’s been 3 years and we’ve been inseparable ever since.
Tell us your proposal story:
We were doing some vintage/thrift shopping and decided to stop for lunch. The restaurant had one of those Instagrammable walls on the way out and we stopped for a picture. He said he didn’t like the picture and went in to ask the hostess if she could help. He got down on one knee and proposed while the hostess captured the video.
How has wedding planning been so far?
It’s in full swing. We decided on having our ceremony and reception at Vidrio in downtown Raleigh and secured our date. It’s the perfect location for our micro wedding! The dress is being made and working on locking down the rest of the details in the next few months.
Tell us what you’re looking forward to most on the wedding day.
Many things! Marrying our lives together and the blessing of having Aaron’s father marry us as a pastor. I’m looking forward to celebrating with 50 of our close family and friends and truly enjoying the experience.
We are choosing to forgo many of the traditional things you normally see at weddings to have it be more of a reflection of who we are as a couple.
