The Distillery was the perfect minimalist venue for this modern wedding-styled shoot which captured the prettiest springtime roses along with high-wattage party vibes of La Hora Loca.
Mixed in right along with planner Brenda Araujo’s intimate theme of the day was the tradition of La Hora Loca and her desire for couples to bring their authentic voice to their special day.
“La Hora Loca is a traditional “crazy hour,” full of music, dancing, and high energy. A party within a party. I want to inspire couples of all nationalities to never hesitate to incorporate their traditions, in one of the most important days of their life,” explained Sucetty.
With beautiful hues of red, pink, and orange roses, paired with the dancer and drummer team of the NC Brazilian Arts Project (along with an ariel performance by Dakota Fox Entertainment!), this shoot had the passionate energy that will inspire you to get up and moving as you get ready to plan your upcoming party.

Choosing the right looks…
It was modern and elegant. The vision was to keep it minimal with modern silhouettes, to not distract the beauty and passion of our couple. We added a strong pendant necklace to enhance the groom’s style.
For the love of roses…
The flower of love and lovers. From bright reds to soft pinks, so elegantly and subtly spoke to us about passion. The bouquet was rich, and the hanging floral installation created a stunning backdrop for our couple. The roses were the highlight of the tablescape, and sweetheart table, romanticizing the entire room!
The vivacious, bold color palette perfectly matched the energy we were aiming for.

Table styling details …
We had a vibrant tablescape with textured linens, paired with contrasting colors for the napkins. Along with Amethyst gleaming glassware to add some character to the softness of the tablescape design. The tall floral centerpiece was still the highlight of the tablescape. Gorgeous!
The perfect cake makes everything that much sweeter…
Once again, matching the vibrant passion energy with bold colors and texture, the top tier was a dreamy delight of yellow cake with salted caramel cheesecake filling and vanilla bean buttercream. The bottom tier was a luscious lemon cake with mascarpone cream, white chocolate ganache, and raspberry filling.
“La Hora Loca” is a traditional “crazy hour”, full of music, dancing, and high energy.”
