Glamorous Pre-Renewal Photoshoot in Washington DC

Paris and Valentin’s gorgeous pre-renewal photoshoot was equal parts glamorous and classy!

The couple first met at a wedding in New Jersey but did not introduce themselves until a year later when they happened to meet again in Maryland. From that point on they were inseparable. They’re beyond excited to celebrate their 10th-year renewal this June!

Tell us about how you met and the proposal

We caught each other’s eyes across the table. Though Valentin was smitten, and we were both mesmerized, we did not speak at that moment. Fast forward a year after the encounter in New Jersey and we met again in Maryland, the rest was history. Valentin proposed over a surprise romantic candlelight dinner on our initial meeting anniversary date.

Describe your session.

Our session was glamorous. It was beautiful, intimate, and classy.

What did you do on your first date?

Our first date was at a restaurant named Sweetwater Tavern and Grille in Falls Church, VA. It is still one of our favorite places to eat.

What’s your favorite thing to do as a couple?

We love doing activities together, such as hiking, cooking, and shopping.

How has wedding planning been so far?

So far, wedding planning has been great! We have an amazing wedding planner who is helping us to navigate even through the COVID challenges and the changes that we have had to make. We were originally supposed to have our celebration last year but had to postpone until June of this year. We’re really excited!
