Jacorey and Kididia’s intimate and classy wedding with hunter green, ivory, and gold decor was romantic and regal.
About 50 of their closest family and friends gathered to watch them exchange vows in a heartwarming ceremony in Georgia. Kididia shares, “(Our) wedding theme was a mix of Regal and Great Gatsby. However, the theme was not as important as it was to support our local small businesses. Most of our vendors were acquaintances who started their own business or local small business owners.”
It was the perfect celebration of family and community. Read more about their love story and see their stunning photos below.

How They Met
I met Jacorey at my Spa in Atlanta where I was the manager. Jacorey would come into my business every day to ensure the cars parked in our lot were allowed to be there. We bonded over our Atlanta roots. You don’t find too many people from Atlanta still here. We became good friends and the rest is history.
The Proposal
Jacorey proposed at my birthday party. It was an 80’s themed party but in true Jacorey fashion he dressed up as “Otis” from Martin. It wasn’t the 80’s but that’s what he does. He always finds a way to make me laugh. Which is a good thing because I’ve always been against birthday proposals but how can you be upset with someone in that outfit? With the keys and flashlight to match!
Wedding Style
My wedding theme was a mix of Regal and Great Gatsby. However, the theme was not as important as it was to support our local small businesses. Most of our vendors are acquaintances who have started their own business or local small business owners. So I’d like to think of our theme as Regal with a touch of community.
Our children were our wedding party. It worked out perfectly because we have a big family. Our wedding was intimate ( Less than 50 people ) Our space was perfect for a wedding that size and the perfect amount of space to social distance.
Best Memory
My best memories are of my vows. We don’t take each other too seriously most of the time. It’s not that we don’t ever share our feelings, it’s just that we have a true friendship and play around most of the time. So when we shared our vows with one another; to actually hear the genuineness and depth of our love for each other was amazing.
Wedding Advice
The best advice I could give someone is to seize every moment of your day! It goes by so fast and before you know it it’s over. I felt like we did months of planning for two minutes of fun. It felt quick, even with a 6-hour event. So dance all night! Enjoy the food. Hug and kiss. Enjoy your loved ones. It’s over before you know it. Also, support your friends and small businesses if you can. You will be surprised as to how much talent is out there if you just give them the opportunity to serve you.

The bride’s dress is gorgeous but the grooms’ jacket is my favorite of the couple’s wardrobe.
