Anisha and Kenneth’s intimate vow renewal in Las Vegas featured an abundance of desert beauty with touches of rustic chic romance!
The couple first met in college and got married on September 10, 2008. Thirteen years later, they were finally able to have the vow renewal of their dreams.
When the pandemic hit it put a lot into perspective. We decided there was no better time than now to renew our vows, just the two of us. Vegas seemed like the perfect place to celebrate year “lucky number 13”.
Anisha (Bride)
They kept their wedding decor minimal, allowing the beauty of the desert and El Dorado Canyon to shine.

How did you meet?
We are college sweethearts and were student-athletes (Football and Track&Field). We met on campus, at SUNY Albany, during our preseason practices and we’ve been together ever since. Kenneth and I originally got married at the courthouse, in downtown Raleigh, NC. We always had plans to have a big vow renewal, but with full-time jobs and four beautiful kids, it became nearly impossible to plan. When the pandemic hit it put a lot into perspective. We decided there was no better time than now to renew our vows, just the two of us. Vegas seemed like the perfect place to celebrate year “lucky number 13”.
Wedding Style
Our vow renewal was so intimate that we wanted everything to be easy breezy. We allowed the backdrop at the El Dorado Canyon to set the tone. It was minimal yet rustic.
What is your best memory?
Being able to read our personal vows after so many years together.
