It was a cold day in January. Twyla was heading home after work when she locked eyes with Terance at the bus station. They both continued on to their bus, but It must have been destiny for them to meet, because they ended up getting off at the same stop. As they walked home, they noticed they were venturing in the same direction. Turned out they lived in the same building; they ended up chatting and exchanging information. Over the course of the year, their friendship grew into a loving relationship, and four years later Terrance proposed in front of their closest friends during a trip to Miami.
Their Durham wedding was full of chic fashion, sincere vows, colorful décor, delicious food and joyful memories. Twyla wore a stunning fitted mermaid gown, and Terrance wore a dapper navy tuxedo. Their unique color scheme of red, navy, gold and ivory was executed perfectly in their décor. Modern ivory furniture and floor to ceiling drapery created an upscale lounge vibe during their reception. Red and ivory flowers were placed atop gold and blue table linens for a bright pop of color. Guests danced all night including Twyla’s 92 year old grandmother who wowed everyone with her dance moves. A late night food station of Chicken and Waffles was a yummy way to end day full of the loving support of their family and friends.
