Looking at the images of Irene and Emmanuel, one can’t help but feel like part of their love journey. Brilliantly capturing every moment of this couple’s loving tenderness, passion and obvious adoration, Kirth Bobb of KBobb Photography is a genius with his camera. It is our pleasure to work with him again. Make sure you visit his blog to soak in more of his creativity.
On how they met…
“We met through his cousin. I attended the same university as his two cousins.
I was friends with the younger sister. The younger sister would always tell the
older sister about me. Then one day the older sister said she wanted their
cousin in the States, Emmanuel, to meet her sister’s friend, Irene. When the
Christmas holidays came around, he came to Nigeria to visit his family and that’s
when we met.” -Irene
For Irene, becoming Emmanuel’s fiancee was a dream come true. On the proposal…
Everyday, Emmanuel would call me as normal so on this particular day he called,
we spoke as usual but when it was time for him to drop the line he then said he
had something to ask me. He asks “Would you love to marry me?” Since I had
always dreamed about the day he would propose to me I immediately said
‘Ok!'”
On the most challenging aspect of the wedding…
“Because my parents and siblings are still in Nigeria, it has been very
challenging for me to worry about them being able to attend the wedding events.
It has been very rewarding and supportive planning my special day with my
husband but in the back of my mind I still worry about my true guests of honor
being there.” -Irene
On how she picked KBobb Photography…
“I’m sure people are well aware of how many photographers work in the DMV area so
with that I researched quite a bit on the internet. Also, a friend had
recommended him to us. We then researched his work and loved it. During our
shoots, he was relaxed, nice and very in tune with the type of pictures we
wanted to take. We truly would like to thank him for helping in making our
special day a success!”
On their special day, Irene hopes that people are happy and the food is great. She definitely knows what her priorities are :)
“I am PRAYING that it goes smoothly, is well organized, the food is delicious,
and our guests are happy!” -Irene
Irene and Emmanuel, we wish you both a lifetime of happiness together! May your obvious love for each other stay with you both each day as you plan your ceremony and live the rest of your lives.
