It's a Family Affair: Loving Engagement Session in New York

After a relationship gone nowhere, Tiffany found the love her life waiting for her in the place she never thought she’d find herself.

They say love presents itself when you least expect it. Having just left a relationship, Tiffany went in search of a companion, but ultimately found the man she’s always been looking for. Finding Dwayne through a dating app, the two soon became closely connected and longing for more. For their engagement session, there was no simple theme, except family and love. Shot within view of the city and Brooklyn Bridge, the pair and their two-year-old daughter lovingly took photos showing that love is all they need.

How did you meet? We met on a dating app, where I was fresh out of a 6-year relationship gone nowhere. Which led me to the app, as I was only looking for companionship.

Tell us your proposal story: We were on a 7-day Caribbean cruise celebrating Dwayne’s birthday which has become a yearly tradition, and as the ship was docking into Grand Turk Island, Turks and Caicos. I was on the balcony distracted by the beautiful scenery as I turned around I found my love on bended knee asking me to be his wife.

The engagement session: Describe your engagement session. Did you have a theme? No there was no theme involved. I know I just wanted to incorporate my 2-year-old baby girl.

What did you do on your first date? We went to watch the movie “Twilight 2” and afterward, went to play pool.

What’s your favorite thing to do as a couple? We absolutely love trying new restaurants; it gives us a lot to do and time to connect with each other.

How has wedding planning been so far? Interestingly stressful, I wish I would’ve just eloped.
