When the lines of friendship and desire become blurred, anxious feelings can arise, but sometimes a leap of faith can lead to true love. Mary and LeAndrew started off as friends when they meet in 2005 at Florida A&M University. However, after remaining friends for two years, it was clear that they shared a deeper connection, and they decided to make their relationship official in 2008.
After a romantic proposal in Las Vegas, the college sweethearts dived into wedding planning. They decided on a theme of “Classic City Glam.” All of their décor had a timeless, romantic, and glamorous feel. Guests were amazed by the immense chandeliers that soared over their heads as Mary walked down a dramatic aisle flanked with towering arrangements of pink and ivory peonies, ranunculus, hydrangeas, and roses. Their color scheme effortlessly mixed blush, rose, ivory, and gold to create a soft ambiance, while gold sequined table linens and chiavari chairs, and the prettiest stationery brought a touch of shimmer.
It was a memorable night that ended with a fairytale exit. Mary shares, “most memorable part of our wedding day would be our exit by family and friends sending us off to our horse and carriage ride. Just to have that first alone time as “Husband and Wife” riding around in the city of Atlanta to reflect on what just happened was amazing. Having people honk their horns and screaming “Congratulations” was fun too.” It truly a magical night, celebrating a lasting love that grew out of an innocent friendship. Best Moment
In all honesty, we had a few memorable moments from saying “I Do” to the father-daughter dance, but the most memorable part of our wedding day would be our exit by family and friends sending us off to our horse and carriage ride. Just to have that first alone time as “Husband and Wife” riding around in the city of Atlanta to reflect on what just happened was amazing. Having people honk their horns and screaming “Congratulations” was fun too.
