Sabrina and Cottrell celebrated their engagement with a romantic and fun James Bond themed e-session!
The couple first connected through work and have dated for five years. Despite having other proposal plans, on the morning of Sabrina’s birthday, Cottrell just couldn’t wait any longer and knew it the perfect day to propose.
Cottrell told me he was supposed to propose in Rome but when we woke up on my birthday he said the time is now!

Tell us how you met and all about the proposal
We met at work and have been dating for five years. I was proposed to on my 42nd birthday at home just he and I. It was very personal and heartfelt. Cottrell later told me he was supposed to propose in Rome but when we woke up on my birthday he said the time is now!!!! We went to Rome two weeks later.
Describe your engagement session
Our engagement session was Chip lit!!!! We had an amazing time. Cottrell even enjoyed himself. He doesn’t like taking pictures, but Chip won him over. Our theme was and is James Bond 007.
What did you do on your first date?
Our first date was at Hops Restaurant. Something chill and laid back.
What’s your favorite thing to do as a couple?
Travel and host parties
How has wedding planning been so far?
The wedding planning has been overwhelming but extremely exciting. Love my twin wedding planners Krista and Kristy.
What are you looking forward to most on your wedding day?
I look forward to becoming Mrs. Derrick most of all. But, I can’t wait to have our family and friends come together with us and enjoy our special day. We’re ready to PARTTTYYYYY!!!!
