Tell us how you met and all about the proposal. We were both at a convenience store on Superbowl Sunday when we ran into a mutual friend of ours who introduced us. We didn’t exchange numbers until months later after he found me on Facebook. We went on our first date and four years later he decided to propose at my father’s impromptu surprise birthday party which ironically happened to fall on Superbowl Sunday. I had no clue that he was going to propose. As of matter of fact I was upset with him the entire week because he did not help me with a few last minute things I needed him to help me with. And to top it all off, he showed up to my father’s party late. I later then found out it was all a part of his plan.
Describe your engagement session. I wanted to do two different style shoots. Something classy/upscale and something relative to football since we met and he proposed on Superbowl Sunday. So for the football themed shoot we included our bridal party to make it even more fun.
What did you do on your first date? We went to dinner and went for a walk at a local pier afterwards.
What’s your favorite thing to do as a couple? Watch movies.
How has wedding planning been so far? It’s been a pretty smooth experience for the both of us. We have a lot of things in common so it wasn’t hard at all when it came to picking out things and vendors for the wedding.
Tell us what you’re looking forward to most on the wedding day. We’re looking forward to celebrating our union with our family and friends.
