All proposals are wonderful, exciting, and totally exhilrating. There is nothing like that moment when the one you love looks at you and tells you that they can’t wait to spend the rest of their lives with you. However, proposals that are truly personal take the cake in my book. They prove that a man really listens to his woman and loves her enough to propose in a way that proves that he does listen….and can’t wait to listen to her for the rest of his life :)
Bryan’s proposal to Khaleshia was such a proposal. Talented photographer, Liz Maryann, also a member of our M.Circle, gave us a glimpse into this now-married couple’s life in this unique vintage e-session. Oh, be sure to check out this beautiful couple’s wedding in the latest issue!
Meet the couple…. Bride’s Name (Maiden): Khaleshia Thorpe Groom’s Name: Bryan Price Date of Proposal: November 4, 2009 Date of Wedding: September 10, 2010 (See their gorgeous spread in the new Fall/Winter issue)
The Proposal ….“I received “Hearty”, my heart-to-heart bear on my eighth birthday from my Aunt Jennie. My aunt Jennie has passed, but I sleep with Hearty every night. (Bryan hates this) Hearty had a battery-operated heart that could be removed [but] I lost his heart years ago. When I arrived home from work on November 4, 2009, Bryan told me that he had ordered a new heart for my bear. I ran to the bedroom to get my bear and to see his new heart. There was a heart shaped ring box in the compartment of Hearty’s chest and Bryan professed his undying love for me!!!”
Simply stunning. Thanks Bryan and Khaleshia. As you inch so closely to the celebration of one year of married life together, may you always have each other’s ear and find little ways to have “heart-to-hearts” for the rest of your life. Congratulations again! And thanks to Liz Maryann for sharing. Find out more about this awesome photographer in The M.Circle, our circle of amazing wedding vendors.
