Kimberly and DeAngelo are celebrating twenty-five beautiful years of marriage in this anniversary event in Plano, Texas. Their “circle of love” theme honors their everlasting love and devotion to each other. To the newly weds of the world, Kimberly and DeAngelo attribute communication and always remaining best friends as keys to a successful marriage. Read all about Kimberly and DeAngelo as they look back on twenty-five years of love. Featuring floral and event design by MunaLuchi Coterie member Nicole Smedley Event Designs.
What was your wedding like? Everything I dreamed it to be! Our theme was “Circle of Love.” Our friends and family came from all over to experience our forever committed love we share for each other.
As you celebrate your anniversary, what do you remember most about your wedding day? My entrance as I entered the ceremony is something I almost can’t explain. As I entered the room my husband was singing “I Belong to You” by William McDowell, then to see him actually crying to see me in my wedding dress (custom made by Aretha Foster of AnR Fashions). He later told me “You looked like an angel” which made the moment even more memorable. There were so many moments, the moment when we walked into the reception, we will forever cherish! Nicole Smedley Event Designs had taken our vision and made our dreams come to life!
Was there anything you would have done differently for your wedding? We would have made it last longer! We wish we had more time to celebrate with our friends and family. We did kind of get to continue celebrating with our friends and family as we ALL took a cruise to Jamaica, Grand Cayman Island and Cozumel the very next day.
What are your favorite things to do as a couple? We enjoy live music, trying new restaurants, going to church and just spending quality time together. We are never bored! DeAngelo keeps me laughing, and we both love to spend time with our four grandchildren.
Who cooks? We normally cook together. Our favorite cuisine is seafood.
When it comes to career, what do both of you do and how do you make time for each other? DeAngelo works in the auto glass industry and Kimberly works in a corporate environment for a pharmaceutical distributor. Although we love to work, Kimberly’s passion is interior design.
What would you say are the most important elements for a successful marriage? Keeping the lines of communication open, having and maintaining a relationship with God individually and as a couple, being best friends.
How do you keep the spark in your marriage? We have weekly date nights.
Tell us about the shoot. What inspired it? Our theme was the circle of love, inspired by a photo we took in Downtown Dallas, “Thanksgiving Square.” A Circle is endless has no beginning or end. This means that a circle goes on forever just like our love.
What do you love most about him? What I love most about my husband…I love the way he loves me! He knows he must first love God, then loving me just seems to come naturally.
What does he love most about you? What I love most about my wife…she’s the true epitome of a virtuous woman; she’s a woman of faith, she respects me as a man and her husband, she has been an outstanding example for our children, she always carries herself with respect (always my lady), she takes care of her temple both spiritually and physically, she’s a good steward over our finances, always conscious in building our home. She’s beautiful inside as well as out. She makes it easy to love her!
What advice can you give for newlyweds? The same advice given to us by our Pastor, beyond being husband and wife “Always remain friends”!
Memorable moment from the bride: The moment I laid eyes on my wedding cake I knew it was a labor of love! From the moment we decided we wanted to renew our vows, we knew the wedding cake would be the least of our worries. When your big sister is Nikita “Nikki J” Jackson of Absolutely Edible Cakes and Catering we knew our guest were coming with high expectations. We gave her our theme and free creative design and boy did she deliver! The cake was simply magical, she delivered a cake which stood more than five feet tall, staged on a 3 feet acrylic table and surrounded by a floral “Circle of Love” not to mention rotating and projecting perfect views from every angle across the room. Having Absolutely Edible in our arsenal for our cake & full catering needs made our event a night to remember. We could never thank Nikki, Todd and Toddreana enough!

I would like to show some appreciation to the writer just for bailing me out of this particular incident. After surfing around through the internet and finding strategies that were not beneficial, I believed my entire life was over. Living minus the approaches to the problems you have fixed through your entire report is a crucial case, and the kind that could have adversely affected my career if I had not discovered the website. Your primary talents and kindness in playing with all the pieces was tremendous. I don’t know what I would’ve done if I had not come upon such a thing like this. It’s possible to now look forward to my future. Thanks for your time very much for the reliable and results-oriented help. I will not be reluctant to recommend your web page to anybody who will need counselling on this subject matter.
