Drawing inspiration from Lagerfeld’s 2007 editorial for Harper’s Bazaar and based on a collective of seasoned wedding professionals, this editorial captures the quintessential moments that make all weddings memorable.

Planner and designer Alisha Chadee of Events by Whim shares, “Chaos goes hand in hand with the lead-up to your wedding day. In the crush of makeup artists, photoshoots, planners, decorators, family, and friends, finding those quiet moments of luxury can be challenging. Like the first time slipping on your dress or finding those perfect platforms that are gallery-worthy. But it’s those exact instances in time that frame the overarching joy of the day, spark a smile, and become an object d’art in your museum of memories.”

Working with an incredible vendor team in the gorgeous Shangri La Toronto hotel, a whimsical and bold editorial came to life exuding sophistication and vibrant artistry. Unexpected geometric details blended seamlessly with striking lavender and peach hues. Models Ariat, Clover, Amethyst, and Adam of Massardo Model Management were styled in sleek modern gowns and suits that perfectly complimented the shoot’s vision.

An elegant tablescape set upon crisp squares of white linen on glass was further enhanced with romantic florals by Fete Boutique Flowers, setting the scene for an evening of celebratory passion.
