A few weeks ago, Luvvie Ajayi celebrated the wedding of her dreams in Chicago. Now we’re keeping the #luvvjones going on the cover of our Fall 2019 Issue.
We are thrilled to share the Fall 2019 cover featuring Luvvie Ajayi! This is our first time having an all-black background on the cover. It’s significant because it represents black love, black excellence, all black everything. We worked with an all black team of wedding professionals to bring this beauty to life. Including the custom designed gown by Project Runway S14 designer Laury Underwood of Laury Bride.

I love that this magazine celebrate black marriages. Finally a publication that focuses on US! This is the stance that we as black people need to take in most industries. WE shouldn’t wait to be included anymore. We need to take the initiative to create our own, whatever that may be. God bless.
