Mariah and Nick’s Fairytale Vow Renewal

We must send our congratulations to the royal songstress,  Mariah Carey, on celebrating her fifth year of marriage to comedian/actor Nick Cannon.  On Tuesday, April 30^th, the couple celebrated their anniversary with an enchanted vowel renewal ceremony fit for a King and Queen at Disneyland.

The day was even more special, because their children, Monore and Moroccan, celebrated their second birthday!  Earlier in the day, the twins partied with Mickey and Minnie Mouse at the Fantasy Faire section of the park, before the family changed into their royal attire.  Mariah shared pictures and Vine videos of the event with her fans on her Twitter page.  In the pictures Mariah, 43, looks radiant wearing a princess ball gown made by the fabulous wedding dress designer Lazaro.   It featured a sweetheart neckline, a dropped waist, sheer alencon lace bodice, and a voluminous layered organza skirt that cascaded into a chapel train.  A beautiful crystal headpiece adorned the singer’s head.  Nick, 32, was dapper wearing a white suit featuring gold embroidery and gold buttons that was a replica of Prince Charming’s suit in Cinderella.  We cannot get over how cute their children were.  Monroe and Moroccan wore princess and prince outfits that mimicked their parent’s attire.

According to Entertainment Tonight, the ceremony’s theme was “Do you believe in fairy tales?” and the wedding featured white flowers and blush accents.  Mariah and Monroe rode in the park’s horse-drawn Crystal Carriage to the Sleeping Beauty Castle, where they were greeted by Cannon and Moroccan.  Carey and Cannon then reaffirmed their love in front of about 250 guests.  The entire theme park was shut down for their ceremony.  The ceremony concluded with fireworks and the reception was held in Fantasyland where Cannon deejayed and guests enjoyed a towering nine-tier, white wedding cake, covered in fondant and crystals.

Every year since their marriage in 2008, Mariah and Nick have renewed their vows on their anniversary.  The beautiful ball gown dress Mariah wore this year was a departure from the form fitting dress she wore for the couple’s Eiffel Tower vow renewals last year in Paris!!  We cannot get enough of this fabulous couple.  Between her work as a judge on American Idol, and her dedication to promoting her upcoming album (cannot wait for her new single “Beautiful” to drop May 6^th),  Mariah is still is putting her family and her marriage first.  She is a true diva!  Mariah and Nick’s relationship is going strong and we are so happy for them!
