The latest designer collaborative effort at H&M is Marni and it’s African-inspired! This new line has Marni’s chic signatuare prints for womenswear, menswear and statement-making accessories. With a wallet-friendly price range of under $129, I predict this line will follow suit with its successful predecessors Lanvin and Versace. Sofia Coppola directed the TV spot of H&M’s next biggest collaboration that we are excited for! Marni’s creative director Consuelo Castiglioni hared his enthusiasm in a statement, “I wanted to create a true Marni wardrobe by revisiting all our favorite pieces in signature fabrics and prints. As always, I love juxtaposing prints and colours, mixing modern tribal with Bauhaus graphic adding sporty utilitarian elements.”

The first glimpse of Marni for H&M appeared last November via a Vogue Russia shoot done by Richard Wyatt. Since then the anticipation for the full look book hit a fever pitch until a new AD campaign surfaced last month.
