Pink, such as fuchsia, hot pink, and blush, are very popular wedding colors today. These shades of pink are often seen in modernly themed weddings and color palettes. Pink, however, is not often used in the same sentence as vintage. When I was a teenager, I was surrounded by mauve (or dusty rose as my grandmother called it); the color surrounded my grandmother’s home. It’s is a color that’s very special to me and one that screams vintage. Mauve is a combination of blush, gray, and a hint of lavender.
