“Having a smaller, more intimate wedding during the pandemic does not mean you need to sacrifice style and luxury, if anything, your Micro wedding can be even more glamorous and beautiful!”
We totally agree with this statement from Danielle Andrews of The Wedding Planners. You can still have a beautiful intimate wedding, and a smaller wedding means you can spend more money on amazing attire, gorgeous decor, and delicious food! In today’s styled shoot, Andrews worked with an amazing team of vendors to design a vibrant outdoor, micro wedding full of luxe details.

Late June is peony season in Southern Ontario and we wanted to showcase these gorgeous coral blooms in our design. I chose the Pantone Color of the Year Classic Blue as the secondary color as the contrast to Coral is simply stunning. A wedding is such a happy occasion pandemic or not, and I feel bright colors elicit even more happiness and excitement to the festivities.

To create a Socially Distanced Microwedding, we held the ceremony in the garden of The Alderlea historic venue. Since couples with a small guest count can put more of their budget into flowers, decor, and food, we went over the top with a gorgeous Cake and Champagne reception on the terrace. Each guest’s gold-rimmed plate sat on a bed of roses, blue hydrangeas, and coral peonies. The champagne sat on a bed of over 30 roses and hydrangeas. The champagne flowed and the guests were treated to stunning and delectable confections.

Our gorgeous modern couple and their witnesses looked so elegant in their wedding attire and the gowns showed off the bride and bridesmaid’s tattoos beautifully.

We also took some photos with custom-made masks to showcase a Socially Distanced wedding and the bride’s illusion lace mask is a perfect match to her illusion lace gown. There were 5 specialty pens used for the ceremony so that the Officiant, couple and their witnesses each used their own pen when signing the Marriage Register.

This photo shoot embodies fun, while also showcasing how Microweddings can be elevated to glamorous swoon-worthy events.
