This minimalist at-home engagement session in Philadelphia has all the love and chic vibes any couple would die for!
Rachael and Nana’s love for one another radiates passion and joy. And what better place to capture their love than in the comfort of their own home?
While the decision to host an intimate engagement session at their apartment was last-minute, the resulting photos feel effortlessly modern and cozy.
Flitting playfully amidst sunshine and shadows, posing against crisp white walls, exchanging steamy kisses on the balcony, and lounging upon modern furniture, Anthony Page Photography helped bring the couple’s vision of a fun and classy engagement session to life.

How they met…
We grew up in the same town but only met each other toward the end of our high-school years. We both played soccer for our individual schools which was what eventually brought us together!
Their first date…
We went for a walk at a park after grabbing some fro-yo.
The proposal…
Nana planned a beautiful and intimate surprise engagement with the help of Rachael’s friends and family. Rachael, being someone who is incredibly hard to surprise, did not see it coming; and that made it even more special.
There were many close calls (like the photographer mistakenly asking Rachael about the engagement itself!) yet she didn’t catch on and walked into the most beautiful surprise.
Engagement session & theme…
We wanted something fun but classy. Our photographer, Anthony Page, really brought our vision to life. With a very last-minute decision to have the shoot at our apartment building, he found the most amazing spots to shoot from.
Favorite thing to do as a couple…
Long drives together!
How has wedding planning been so far?
Overwhelming at times, but we’ve reminded ourselves that we’ve looked forward to this time in our relationship for so long. We have received so much support and encouragement from friends and family which has made the experience so much better.
What they’re looking forward to most…
Having all our loved ones gathered together; some for the first time!
