Brittney and Elliot first met while swiping right on an online dating app.

Set along the Tidal Basin in Washington DC, their proposal was intimate and beautiful.
“We walked along the water as cherry blossoms fell… as we continued to walk Elliot asked me to open his backpack and rose petals started falling out. I turned around and he was on one knee!”
Shopping experience…
For Brittney, the wedding shopping experience was great.
“I went to 3 boutiques and at the third location, I just knew from their variety I would find [my dress]. My best friend found it for me and with her and my mom there, I said yes to the dress!”
Wedding style…
Overall, the pair describes their wedding style as “traditional but modern.”
Brittney stunned in a cream gown with a see-through back and Elliot opted for a handsome white tux jacket and black pants.

She recalls, “I really zoned out and it felt like just the two of us, if even for 3 minutes.”
Advice for other engaged couples…
Brittney’s advice for other couples is to remember to to have fun!
She also recommends picking out “…one or two things you want to splurge on (like flowers and your dress) and then making concession[s] on your other items.”
