Can a wedding be both playful and minimal? Can it be sophisticated but have at its core the freshness and vibrancy of summer and its call for romance and renewal.
This wedding shoot delicately and definitively answers, “Yes!” The subtle juxtaposition of the gown which evokes summer at play and the glasshouse which evokes the spirit of a minimalist “secret garden” holds within it the traditional elements of the wedding reception. They each speak to the transparency of a summer day that has no clouds or fog but is clear, bright, and promising just like the hopes of our bride and groom. We hope that you will join us on our journey in the photo gallery below :
Wedding Details
“We wanted this shoot to feature bold color to compliment the beautiful blue dress. We incorporated coral, peach, and pinks into the floral and styling. The bouquet is a classic European hand-tied bouquet bursting with local dahlias, lisianthus, scabiosa, and textural elements like viburnum berries, heather, and yarrow.”
Style
This whimsical-styled shoot was inspired by the Isadora gown. Gown designer Delana Formals imagined a free-spirited and modern bride who wanted her day to be as unique and romantic as her union.
